It's pretty simple... We're about keeping the art of knitting alive and having fun. This isn't your grandmother's frumpy knitting circle. For us, it's about the latest designs, the newest techniques, spectacular fibers and lots and lots of color. You can expect to find all kinds of inspiration, whether through patterns, samples or other patrons.
Did I mention samples? We have one of the largest selections of knitting samples in the area and it's constantly growing. We believe seeing and feeling a garment before investing the time to make it is important. That's why you'll always find us knitting.
Jumping into a new technique? No problem, private lessons are always available and group classes will be forming.
Can't get it put together? We can be bought! Finishing services are available. Just be patient though, quality work can't be rushed.
Oh yes, and about the fun part... Slip Knot has been called "Cheers for Knitters". It's a place where folks interested in the craft hang out, knit, get to know each other and have lots of laughs (Who knew there are so many knitter jokes!!).
